For a Biology of images
Clara Carvajal is an artist who uses classical and contemporary social myths, dismantling cultural schemes to exhibit the meaning that normally escapes when immersed in them. Her latest works revolve around the biology of the image (a concept developed by her) showing how images vary in support, form and technique without losing their meaning or their essence.
Trained as a sculptor, my work explores communication through languages and concepts, which requires a languages and concepts, which demands a decryption of formulas and messages, often unconsciously.
