MANIPULATION AND TRADITION;

USE OF ARTISTIC WORKS AS REFERENCES AS CULTURAL ADVERBS.

This is perhaps the most multifaceted project I have done. Not only does it use the encryption of the QR language but it also uses a set of mirrors to show the multiplicity of visions that fit in the same figure. Each one built around an image of high cultural content, I want to show how that element ends up developing a narrative with enormous traction in its field. This is the case with Marcel Duchamp's The Great Glass, or with El Laocoonte by El Greco, as well as with an anonymous Persian illumination from the 16th century, which shows a knight reigning over the elements of his culture (Islamic and pre-Islamic of the Persian Empire) that are agglutinated in the form of his mount. The three works refer to forms that play an important role in cultural processes that incorporate them as pieces of a narrative, as if they were jokers or adverbs of cultural language.
